                                                           Veneers

I was sick and tired of looking at my smile in the mirror. My teeth were full of spaces and I couldn't stand it. I really did not want to get braces. I had seen how kids treat each other with braces and in high school it's not cool to have braces. I decided to call my dentist in Bristol and ask if there existed any kind of alternative to braces. I was amazed when he told me that there were. They are called veneers. I wasn’t sure how they could fix my teeth, but I decided to visit the dentist so he could tell me a little bit more about them.

Veneers were invented in the 80´s more than anything to help actors temporarily change the way they smile for the camera. The veneers fell off quickly and weren't too effective. Today veneers are made of porcelain and can last up to 30 years .Veneers are cemented to the teeth and carved around to get rid of unwanted spacing in teeth. You can use them for one tooth or for all of them if you want. It all depends on you.

After talking with my dentist in Bristol I decided to go ahead and get a few veneers. I'm so happy I did. I'm not afraid anymore to smile and I know that when I do, people are impressed with what they see. Most importantly I'm happy and impressed by my own smile. If you want to avoid the ridicule that accompanies braces ask your dentist about veneers. You will be amazed at the results they will give you.
