Wisdom Teeth

Are you constantly suffering from headaches and pressure in the mouth, eyes and ears? A Cambridge dentist says that if this is so, it might be a good time to have a dentist take a look at your wisdom teeth. These are three of the most common signs that the wisdom teeth are ready to be removed. The dentist explains to us why they need to be removed and where they are located.

The wisdom teeth are placed in the very back of the mouth. There are four of them and they need to be removed because they usually grow in at an angle. When this happens they begin to push against the other teeth squishing them together. This is what causes those feelings of pressure and pain. These symptoms will continue to bother you until they have been removed. Make sure to the dentist says you are ready to have them removed.

The Cambridge dentist says that the wisdom teeth give us no wisdom at all; in fact it is unwise to leave them in your mouth. It is very rare that the wisdom teeth grow in straight, but if you happen to have that luck, the wisdom teeth do not need to be removed. If you are feeling the symptoms mentioned above, talk to your dentist about removing your wisdom teeth as soon as possible.
